Description:
As a java engineer you will design and create the next-generation high-performing, low latency, scalable real time bidding platform. Our platform is handling more than 120K bids per second and growing every month. Our ambition is to connect to every mobile application and offer our clients the ability to buy traffic on it. As a java engineer, you will work to scale the system, create algorithms to filter the data while maintaining current throughput and latency.
Design and create a high-volume, low-latency real time bidding platform
Create the backend for the campaign management system that will be used by our clients
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Supervise the production environment to make sure it is performing well
Investigating technologies and architectural changes to improve performance
BS in Computer Science
Deep understanding of java and the JVM
Experience with high throughput multithreading programming
Experience in unit testing
Preferred qualifications:
Master's in Computer Science or related technical field
Experience in creating large scalable systems
Experience working with Amazon EC2
Experience with open source java libraries
Experience with thrift
