We are looking for a self-motivated, highly-intelligent DBA who wants to expand his horizons by joining a first-class team of developers working on a cutting-edge product which utilizes versatile database environments.

Monitoring and maintaining our production and development database environments so they are stable, efficient and reliable
Recommending appropriate development best-practices and optimization techniques to developers
Deep involvement in the design and implementation of data-related aspects of new product features
Troubleshooting poorly-performing solutions and recommending corrective actions (optimization, redesign, indexing, etc.)
Creating, tuning and maintaining mission-critical ETL processes
Pioneering solutions to Big Data challenges

3+ years of experience as an SQL Server DBA, both application and infrastructure
Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL-Server – must
Hands-on experience with supporting, optimizing, and monitoring complex SQL queries and large databases on mission-critical systems
Experience with T-SQL and developing SQL Server stored procedures, functions, triggers and jobs
Experience with SSIS development and triangulation
Advantage – knowledge/skills in:
MySQL
Big Data systems (HBase, Hadoop, Hive)
NoSQL technologies (MongoDB)
High-level programming
