Forter is looking for an accomplished Head of Backend Development to lead our growing team of super developers responsible for our backend infrastructure.

About us: Forter delivers real time, completely automated, fraud protection for online merchants. Our revolutionary technology allows automatic, real-time decline/approve decision for online transactions, for ecommerce merchants who want to take fraud off their minds. Forter’s SaaS solution combines advanced cyber intelligence, identity analysis and behavioral data in order to create a multi layered fraud detection mechanism. We process using Storm, monitor by the ELK stack and creating stream logics (e.g. for alerts) through Riemann.

Forter is growing tremendously fast but we successfully preserve our close, communicative nature… We’re looking for a passionate leader with a vision and great attitude to grow with us and be our CTO’s right hand.

Experience needed:

Leader of developing scalable cloud service back-ends using various open source technologies such as Storm, Log-Stash, Elastic Search, Kibana.
At least 5 years’ experience in OOP language, preferably Java
Designing and implementing distributed architectures, including rich data layers
Managing a team of 5 people and more for over 4 years
Would be very cool if you have

Experience in being the leader of SaaS development.
