Success in this role requires an ability to build modern, scalable applications for Nurego service and wrap your mind around a large scale distributed system. You need the ability to analyze and fix a complex system behavior or performance problem, and have well developed analytical and code-level troubleshooting abilities. Finally you should be able to represent our customers, understand their technical and business needs and make sure we fold this in every feature we develop.
● Design, implement, and test Nurego components
● Understand customers business and technical requirements and make sure implementation meets them
● Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis activities.
● BA/BS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience
● Solid grasp of the fundamentals of computer science
● 3+ years work experience
● Expert level knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails 3
● Expert level knowledge of modern JS frameworks, HTML, CSS
● Fluent in Postgress (or similar), able to write and optimize queries
● Comfortable with working on Linux
● Fast learner, Deep thinker, Excellent communication skills
● Ability to work in distributed teams
● Nice to have: experience in building SaaS cloud services
● Nice to have: experience with large enterprise customers
● Nice to have: experience with PaaS like Heroku or/and CloudFoundry
