The position requires excellent design and coding capabilities, and good understanding and experience with Linux.

The infra team develops infrastructure  software for  high availability , in-service upgrade, large databases , inter-process-communication, and  management.

B.S in Computer Science, SW Engineering or the equivalentAt least 5 years of development, with excellent  C/C++ programming skillsExcellent collaboration and communication skills (both written and verbal)

● This is a hands-on position, which will require the following capabilities:
● Contribute in the DevOps team to maintain and build out our infrastructure and servers.
● Evolve infrastructure, server, deployment strategies and testing to support our goal of 100% up-time and quick turnaround of deployments for the engineering organization.
● Building tools for automating the deployment, management, and monitoring of geographically diverse applications and databases
● Continuously improve our infrastructure to be easy to deploy, scalable, secure and fault-tolerant
● Take on responsibilities such as being on-call, writing deployment scripts, debugging applications, evaluating new technologies and more.

You have at least 2 years of experience in supporting Linux/Unix deployments for a company with a high traffic site.
You have designed, monitored and managed scalable and fault-tolerant deployments and supported them in real-world scenarios.
You are smart with an intellectual curiosity that motivates you to keep on top of technical trends - but you also like to have deep knowledge in the tools of choice.
You are service-oriented, and enjoy working with engineers to make the software development process as painless as possible.
You are comfortable writing in any of the following languages: ruby/bash/python.
