Position Description:

We are looking for top-notch developers to join our Development team.

We have our technology stack, but we are not bound to it. We use what we need (and what the market is asking for), not necessarily what we have.
TaKaDu's Development team is responsible for building and developing smart big data algorithms to analyze all the collected data from water utilities. We offer a SaaS solution, which helps water utilities make smarter decisions. Our product is developed in Java and Python and based on Linux platforms. The hired developers will take part in designing and implementing the next generation of TaKaDu's solution, which expands to water consumption data and water quality issues.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in Java server side development, including cloud services (preferably AWS): data storage systems, virtual and physical servers, information systems and scalability
Strong background in computer science fundamentals – data structures, object oriented and multi threading
Excellent knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL (experience in Big Data platforms is an advantage)
Experience in enterprise software development, including all stages of the software development lifecycle. Experience in Agile methodologies is an advantage
Experience with Internet solutions, preferably in the ecommerce domain – advantage
Strong analytical skills
Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written
Self-starter, fast learner, can-do attitude and great inter-personal skills
