Position Description:

Software QA plays an important function in TaKaDu’s R&D. The team is responsible for all aspects of both automatic and manual testing, including the design, development and running of all tests. By building comprehensive and sophisticated tests, the team assures robustness, low fault tolerance and high performance of TaKaDu’s product and service.

The Software QA Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality products by thoroughly testing throughout all phases of the development cycle (functional, integration, regression and performance testing) by using a variety of testing methods.

We are looking for top-notch engineer passionate about technology who possesses a broad system view, great understanding of web-user experience and extensive knowledge of software infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
Design and develop test cases based upon system specifications documentation
Design and execute automatic, as well as manual test cases
Work closely with software developers to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality
Investigate test failures to provide accurate bug description
Requirements:

Relevant academic degree in Computer Science / Engineering
At least 2-3 years of experience in automatic testing in software – Mandatory
Good knowledge of engineering and QA methodologies and processes
Experience in QA of web-based applications
Proficient in some scripting language (e.g. python, some test tool proprietary language)
Wide perspective – system view and process understanding
Linux experience
Experience in SQL
Fluent in English. Any additional language is an advantage
Data-analysis skills
Experience in using configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, debugging tools, and testing tools
Advantages:
