Description:
Software Engineering Team Leader to lead a small software development team and be responsible for all in-house software development and working with outsourced software teams. The position reports directly to the VP R&D. The challenge is to develop new and innovative products, often connected to the field of robotics. The responsibilities require taking a project from the design engineering phase through manufacturing, including supporting the ramp-up to mass production. The software development will be on real-time systems, and significant knowledge of embedded software is required.
Knowledge of real-time programming & embedded systems (ThreadX, embedded Linux, etc.)
Robotics experience (control systems, sensors, data processing, real-time)
Experience with developing software for consumer products
Good communication skills
English – high level or native level
Good English writing skills (specifications, requirements, test reports, project documentation)
Good time management & scheduling skills
Problem solving capabilities and ability to work independently and manage others
Ability to learn quickly and push the limits
5+ years experience
