Position: System DBA - MSSQL

Location: Bar Lev (between Akko and Carmiel)

Description:

 Maintaining stable development, testing and production database environments.
 Install, configure, implement, and monitor MS SQL.
 Developing & Writing scripts in T-SQL environment for infrastructure processes.
 Implementing operational automation processes using scripts.
 Daily administration, performance tuning, and security checks.
 Providing technical support to R&D department regarding SQL Servers infrastructure.
 At least 4 years’ hands on experience as an Infrastructure MS SQL DBA on SQL 2008 R2/2012 platforms in an intensive 24X7 environment.
 Experience with SQL high availability solutions: clustering, mirroring, replication and AlwaysOn – a must.
 Deep knowledge in SQL Server security model.
 Deep knowledge in indexes configuration & optimization.
 Deep knowledge in SQL partitioning.
 Experience with performance monitoring, tuning and problem resolving ability.
 Experience with SQL Backup / Restore - Must.
 Experience with data archiving.
 Experience in writing and optimizing T-SQL code (Stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.).
 SSIS, SSRS and OLAP experience.
 Experience with Netapp SnapDrive & SnapManage – an advantage.
 Experience developing in C# (CLR, FileStream and etc.) - an advantage.
 High self-instruct ability, good documentation skills, can perform tasks independently and can take responsibility.
