Uber is a marketplace, and our Operations & Logistics managers own the entire  “supply” side of that marketplace in their city - they optimize the quantity and quality of cars available to our users, and continually improve the rider experience via scheduling, asset utilization, and driver incentive programs.

In practice this requires a unique mix of analytical and interpersonal skills; an ability to use our data to quickly understand trends in supply and user demand, combined with an ability to motivate and incentive our partners to behave in ways that take advantage of those insights. Highly refined people skills, as well as toughness, resourcefulness and persistence, are required to ensure capacity, while providing the quality of service we demand for our users. This is an intense, business-side startup role which has a clear and direct, impact on the growth and strategy of our business.

Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and driver development.
Heavy metrics analysis and product/process improvement.
Driver on-boarding and training.
Expansion planning/recruiting.
Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of driver incentive programs and work with management to execute those strategies.
Launch uber in exciting new cities in Israel.
Take ownership of Uber's growth in your city.

2-5 years of operational/analytical experience gained in consulting, investment banking, marketing or operations management
Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
World-class people skills to be able to influence and motivate our partners (drivers)
Bachelors degree in science/engineering, economics, finance or similar field (MBA preferred)
Startup (all-hands-on-deck) "I bust my ass because I love it" approach
Expertise in data analysis tools as Excel, SQL, etc is highly preferred
Native Hebrew and fluent English

Management consulting, investment banking or accounting background with numbers/excel driven decision instincts
Engineering background with dreams of applying similar process to people processes
