Gigya, the global leader in connected consumer management is hiring a QA Engineer in Tel Aviv, Israel. The successful candidate will have a passion for designing, building and executing automated and manual tests in a web environment. The individual will work with the team to identify and implement best practices to ensure the software performs as expected and will be an integral part of all team deliverables. This is a fast paced, high energy environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing and executing automated and manuel test scripts and effectively communicating test results
Bug tracking and validation basing upon project goals and priorities/criteria
Verify usability, function, performance, and scalability
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in testing web applications required
Must be well versed in QA methodology and quality metrics
Experience with XML, HTML, CSS
Basic programming knowledge in Javascript and at least one of the following languages: C#, Java, PHP,mobile applications as Android/iOS
Proficient in English
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and persuasively on technical issues and their alternatives is required
Candidate should also possess the ability to work under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and sense of humor
