System Administrator

Position: System Administrator

Location: Tel-Aviv

Description:

• Support the office infrastructure and local users including hardware, software, storage, networking, backup, etc.
• Maintain and enhance computer systems, software and equipment that support an R&D and professional service teams with the goals of reliability and productivity
• Participates in managing production server environment with the goal of providing uptime and performances
• Ensure completeness and compatibility of the various technical infrastructures to support system performance including software installation, configuration, tuning, upgrades, troubleshooting, backups, monitoring, security, patches, etc.
• Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations regarding computer system security, monitor network, computer and disk utilization.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call as needed.
• Understand and participate in application and code deployment processes.
• Document and manage system configurations.

• At least 5 years’ experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
• Knowledge of scripting languages – bash, Powershell, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to function within a highly dynamic, results driven and high-pressure environment in order to achieve required objectives.
• Able to work successfully both independently and on a team as well as with remote teams
• Knowledge of any monitoring system preferred.
• Experience with the following technology preferred:
• VMware
• Oracle
• LDAP
• TCP/IP, firewall management, and operating system configuration
• backup
• Tomcat
• Apache
