Position: Data Analyst

We are seeking for an experienced data analyst, who will help us improve our customers' experience and satisfaction from our product. He/She will interact with various stake holders across the company, understand their business needs, conduct various data analysis activities, and eventually provide insights and/or solutions accordingly.

Responsibilities:

Master the different aspects of the system – algorithms, methods, database, functionality, etc.
Communicate with various stake holders across the company, gather and translate business requirements to data analysis activities and processes.
Analyze business and system data related to customers, identify relevant trends and insights, tune system configuration to best fit customers' needs.
Analyze business and system data for investigating and answering customer inquiries related to the system's actions and its business performance.
Provide input to research and development teams for further improvement of the product's algorithms, methods and functionality.
Incorporate the data analysis activity above into well defined methods and procedures.

Requirements:

First degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics or related field from known university
3+ years of experience in data analysis in high data volume environments in the financial or commerce industries
Excellent knowledge and proved experience in SQL
Strong analytical abilities, technical orientation and exceptional problem-solving skills
Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written
Self-starter, fast learner, can-do attitude and great inter-personal skills
Advantages
Knowledge in data mining and/or business intelligence
Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS
Familiarity with Python, Perl or other scripting language
Familiarity with R, Matlab or equivalent
