Maintain availability for all SAAS products and infrastructure
Interface with other central organizations to improve and implement process, procedures and automation.
Pro-active and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
Regular database capacity planning related to database growth and system utilization, trend analysis and predicting future database resource requirements.
Provide second level escalation support for the Support Center.
Working closely with other team leads and their technical teams to ensure delivery of database services within the performance targets set.
Thorough knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 11g environments (On Linux/Unix).
Strong troubleshooting skills within and outside database environment.
3+ years in Database Administration/support in Oracle RDBMS 11g in 24x7 production environment.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Tuning.
Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures
Strong knowledge of SQL/SQL*Plus and understanding of PL/SQL and stored procedures/pkgs.
Strong Knowledge of Database Backup and recovery using RMAN and logical backups.
Strong knowledge of Unix shell or Perl scripting languages.
Quick Learner and strong listening and communication skills.
Strong communication skills and customer-support focused attitude
Required Languages
Good level of English, mostly for reading and writing
Capable of working under pressure within multitask area
