Position: R&D Team Leader

Description:

As an R&D team leader you will be instrumental to Zooz's growth. You willreport directly to the VP R&D, and will be responsible for building the next generation of Zooz services using a variety of cutting-edge technologies.

Recruiting engineers, building and training your team, and leading unique development projects.
Managing and expanding the current capabilities of Zooz’s platform usingapplication servers, J2EE technologies, and SQL & NoSQL DB.

- Minimum 2 years managing technical development teams of 2-6 engineers.
- Experience in J2EE - EJB & JPA programing (at least 3 years).
- B.Sc. in Computer Science from a known academic institute.
- Experience in server-side development with a deep understanding of application servers.
- Knowledge of performance optimization / tuning / caching – an advantage.
- Experience working with and designing solutions that use large scale relational DB.
- Knowledge of Linux – an advantage.
- Ability to lead projects end-to-end.
- Ability to work independently and respond to multiple requests in a dynamic work environment.
