Position: Java Big Data Software Engineer

Description:
Participate in architecture, design of interfaces to main components of the system
Design and build robust Hadoop solutions for big data problems
Be the owner of major components of the software modules. Be responsible for coding, unit testing, debugging, performance testing and deployment of major components of the system
Participate in design reviews, peer reviews and work according to the team development methodologies
Handle production issues and ad hoc performance issues
BSC or higher in computer science
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, HBase, Redis
Expert in Java development, practices and design patterns.
At least 3 years of experience in relevant software development
Comfortable with integrating open source components
Cloud development and deployment experience in Amazon AWS environment is an advantage
