Position: NOC Operator

Description:

Monitor, operate and support all of company’s 24/7 global and domestic content distribution services

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor telecommunications/ broadcasting systems, supervise the functioning of technical components and make sure that they are active and problem free
• Customer support – initial point of contact for all company’s clients
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues.
• Accountable for managing events and ensuring that they are resolved while maintaining a detailed record of the problems and methods used to solve them
• Manage escalation process till resolution including coordination with in-house engineers and 3rd parties.
• Manage and coordinate technical maintenances related to company’s distribution services
• Monitor and operate if needed facility air-conditioning, UPS, generators etc.

Requirements:

• Technical background (Practical engineer – an advantage) RF, satellites, networks, electronics, video and/or sound
• Technical or customer support experience – an advantage
• Fluent English – a must
• Basic computer skills (MS Office programs)

Able to handle shift rotation, minimum 5 shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
