-RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in Leading our server side systems architecture.
Research, plan and implement new innovative technologies and solutions.
Participate in planning new features and enhancing our systems and their efficiency.
Help scaling our current systems for the next millions of users.
Developing features of our back-end system, social networks integration, and publishing tools for our thousands of writers and for our in-house team.

-QUALIFICATIONS

2+ Years of Ruby / Ruby on Rails development.
Proven experience with Behaviour/Test Driven Development, using RSpec or any other testing framework.
Passion for the latest open-source projects, in all fields of development.
Experience with different databases (SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value stores, Graph databases, or whatever bakes your noodles) and being able to always pick the right tools for the job.

-ADVANTAGES

Experience with working with different social network APIs (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Youtube, etc.)
Knowledge of Javascript MVC frameworks (Backbone.js, Angular…)
