Position: Operations Engineer (IT)

Description:

You will be a part of a unique team of professionals which acts as a primary point of contact for our customers, both internal and external, providing technical support and maintaining Earnix production environments.

Build deep knowledge of Earnix Insurance and Banking products and infrastructure
Manage incidents technically and professionally
Interact effectively with customers and internal developers, QA teams and product experts
Work extensively with the Amazon AWS API – Perform automation and improvements processes
Deploy software and hardware for various production environments
Manage complex monitoring systems and tools
Engage with various AWS advances features
Readiness to travel as needed

A Degree or equivalent experience
4-5 years of experience with IT enterprise environments
Excellent familiarity with network technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, Remote Desktop, DNS)
Excellent familiarity with Windows Server family (Core, Internals)
Good familiarity with Linux (all major flavours)
Ability for solve problems and excellent troubleshooting. Out-of-the-box thinkers are welcome!
Excellent Interpersonal, writing and verbal skills. Good level of English is a must.
Ability to understand and explain technical information, hands-on
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
Independent, ability to self-learn new advanced concepts, execute and deliver

Knowledge of Amazon AWS (API and programming – a big advantage!)
Microsoft MCSE/A, CCNA or equivalent certifications
Working experience with Enterprise software (IBM WebSphere, DB2, Oracle or similar software)
SQL Knowledge
VM \ HyperV \Xen
