Description:
The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for performing business customer support activities throughout the project lifecycle, including requirement and gap analysis workshops, solution design and write-up, on-site and off-site support activities (for example, training, implementation support, static date set-up, development and QA support and so on).
Working closely with external clients to gather detailed requirements.
Working closely with Development, QA, BU (Business Units) and GS (Global Services) on different project activities.
Writing detailed business requirements based on customer requirements.
Writing functional specifications for new products and features. The specifications. include descriptions of basic functionality along with definitions of host interfaces. (layout and mapping), GUI requirements, processing flows, database changes, etc.
Presenting walk-through of proposed functional solutions to clients and internal stakeholders (development/QA) and getting sign-off from all interested parties.
Remaining involved with projects through the development and QA life cycle to ensure that the actual implementation meets the proposed requirements/solution.
Writing internal “How-to” guides, training materials and end-user documentation.
Relevant academic background.
Proven experience in business and system analysis.
Experience in requirement analysis and solution design.
Know-how in modeling and design tools.
Experience in:
Implementing large software projects of financial or banking applications.
Client-Server environments on NT and UNIX – advantage.
SQL Server and Oracle – advantage.
Native English, knowledge of other languages - advantage.
Excellent writing skills.
Willingness to travel.
