Description:

ARRIS is looking for a talented & passionate SW engineer to join a leading NMS team and to be responsible for development of video NMS product. As a software engineer at ARRIS you will have the opportunity to contribute to derivative software design and implementation with technical guidance from senior engineers. Develop new features and contribute towards integration testing of the product. Perform technological researches and work with customers.

Scope of responsibilities / Expectation:
Develop new features in video NMS product.
Work under the guidance of advanced engineering personnel, within product development to develop and support the video NMS product.
Generate required product development documentation.
Participate in source code control and software release activities as required.
Resolve technical problems and initiating design changes.
Communicate project status, issues, and requirements both verbally and in writing.
Develop internal group tools.
Conduct technical presentations/demonstrations and research technological solutions as required.

Formal Education- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
Graduates who have completed their academic degree in the last 2 years
Demonstrate working knowledge of operating systems, programming languages and software development tools,
Demonstrate an understanding of standard programming and software engineering techniques.
Demonstrate an understanding of software architecture and system architecture.
Candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Java.
Advantage – Linux OS, Oracle DB, Networking, HP HW, design tools.
