Area of the application: If you are a DevOps Engineer and Linux Systems rock star, Clarizen has an immediate opening to join the managed services team. The DevOps Engineer is central to our ability to deploy code and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a person who knows how to work across the organization to ensure our success.
Be the lead owner of automation systems
Develop and manage rapid deployment, automation tools, monitoring our SaaS offering environment
Manage scripts and recipes for deployment packaging that support our application
Manage monitoring systems to ensure visibility and health of our SaaS environment
Help us troubleshoot issues in real-time across the whole stack – hardware, software, network and our application
Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into the production environment
Excellent automation coding and scripting skills and experience, such as Bash
Experience with system management automation tools, such as Puppet or Chef
4+ years of experience in administering Linux-based systems
Strong experience with virtual infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting, such as VMware and/or Citrix Xen server
Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-energy environment
Excellent reliability, dependability and trustworthiness
Excellent communication skills – able to work well with a smart, passionate and growing team
Team player with strong communication and technical writing skills
