Xora provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for companies whose success depends on the productivity and efficiency of ‘always mobile’ workers.

As a member of the R&D Xora Ops Team (which belongs to ClickSoftware’s R&D Group), the Architect is a key player in the Research & Development process of the Xora suite of applications. The role couples the requirement for technical expertise as well as business and market understanding.

The position necessitates a deep technical understanding of the unique characteristics of web and mobile technologies and the point of view of a solution architect taking into consideration a sophisticated cloud infrastructure together with web and native mobile app technologies.

The Architect will be reporting to the XORA-R&D Manager in Israel.
Responsibilities
Participate and Lead operations of the Xora application suite.
Lead agile development cycles with a group of web and mobile developers, as well as multitenant server and database
Serve as the focal point for knowledge and collaboration between the development and the cloud services team.
Define scope and maximize delivery quality for each dev cycle,
Become a technical focal point and advisor to the Product Management team.
Innovate and create exceptional user stories and user experience.
Work with partners to plan and execute integrated solutions.
Responsible for the quality of the product, while leading the testing effort and testing processes.
Identifies best practice improvements and implement them.

Ability to learn new skills and retain technical details to build novel solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferably) or Industrial Engineering and Management.
Experience in:
Web and mobile technologies
Cloud systems
Service side development with Java over Linux
Database platform: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
QA and test automation of Web, Mobile and Cloud systems
