Description:

This is a junior position for someone who wants to jump start their career in project management and product management. You would be filling in for SleepRate’s product manager while she is on maternity leave. This role would have the opportunity to progress into a full time position with the SleepRate team.

To lead, manage and accelerate the product development process for the main projects SleepRate is focused on including:

Developing our sleep improvement application for Android
Being part of the research team that will analyze and study how to improve our sleep improvement plans and developing features to make the plans better
Write all the product feature documents for the R&D team. This includes:
Flow charts
Screens
Explanations on how the product should work
Working with UX experts, designers and sleep clinicians to form these documents – including managing tasks and time tables for each of these people
All documentation and most communication must be done in English

Able to lead and manage a project – including breaking goals into tasks, assigning the tasks to the specific owners and making sure they deliver on time, with high quality
Sees the high and low level requirements – ability to get to the details of each task and also see the full project picture
Fast study
Has an eye for UX design
Able to write thorough feature documents
Tech savvy (understand mobile apps, able to grasp the concepts)
Very high level of English
Basic Photoshop abilities an advantage
