Description:

The Head of R&D will lead and manage the R&D activities of AnyProtect, our successful online backup product.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and design our client-server solution
• Manage our R&D teams and lead innovation
• Focus on architecture and technologies
• Be responsible to integrating supporting technologies including CRM, Billing, Affiliate platforms
• Direct team management and coordination
• Conduct and manage short cycle sprints in Agile environment
• Review and control code
• Code and implement key components
• Off-shore R&D management
• Translate the product road map into actionable development plan
• Conduct and manage short cycle sprints

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in managing R&D teams (up to 10 PPL)
• Managing offshore development teams – an advantage
• Solid technical background and relevant expertise in client server technologies
• Strong technical skills in computer science and software engineering
• Strong management skills
• BSC in CS- big advantage

Experience with the following technologies:

• Browser: Java scripting, HTML5, Mobile
• Coding: PHP, C++
