Position: Experienced System Engineer in young start up

Location: Tel Aviv

Description:

A young and established company in the area of mobile advertisement is looking for
a skilled and experienced systems management engineer.
The company is growing fast and this is a huge opportunity to get onboard. We are

- Proven job record of at least 5 years of system administration.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in Ubuntu administration.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in Ubuntu shell scripting.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in JAVA-based applications administration.
- Advanced level of knowledge of firewalls configuration (including attack detection).
- Knowledge of Load Balancing principles.
- Experience in hardening computers and services against network attacks and intrusions.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years with the following AWS services: EC2, EBS, Load Balancer, S3, Dynamo DB, Route 53.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years with CI tools: HUDSON/JENKINS.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years with Services monitoring (Nagios).
- Knowledge of POSTFIX or any other MTA.
- Advanced level of knowledge of POSTGRESQL: backup/restore, master/slave replication, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Apache web server, nginx, Apache Tomcat
- Fluent English.
- Responsible, accurate, independent and result-oriented.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Service in a leading military technological unit.
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
